Court Orders Munch Art Theft Suspect Held
OSLO, Norway -- A Norwegian court on Monday ordered a suspect in the brazen daytime theft of two Edvard Munch masterpieces jailed for four weeks pending investigation and possible indictment. The 37-year-old Norwegian was arrested on suspicion of involvement in the Aug. 22. raid of the Munch Museum in Oslo.

Art Group Honors Met Museum Director
NEW YORK -- Philippe de Montebello, director of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, has been cited by an international art and antique dealers group for his lifetime contribution to the arts.
